Our Israel Christian Tour begins with a spend the week walking through the Land of the Bible.
Accordingly, We will gaining insight into the birthplace of Judaism and Christianity, and visiting the religious, archaeological and ancient sites.
On your first day in Israel, visit the ancient port city of Jaffa and explore its alleyways and marketplaces.
Overnight: Tel Aviv
Walk along Rothschild Blvd, stopping at Independence Hall. Travel north to Nazareth, see Mary’s Well and the Roman Catholic Basilica of Annunciation.
Additionally, visit Cana of Galilee, and continue to Magdala to see the recently discovered synagogue.
Visit the significant sites of Jesus’ Central Galilean Ministry, Mt. of the Beatitudes, Tabgha, and Capernaum.
Moreover, enjoy wine tasting in the Golan Heights and ride Dune Buggies to the Syrian border.
Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, continuing to the archaeological sites of the City of David and the Southern Wall Excavations.
Furthermore ascend the Temple Mount and wander around the alleyways of the Jewish Quarter.
Tour Mt. Zion, the church of St. Peter in Galican, King David’s Tomb, Dormition Abbey and the Room of the Last Supper also.
Afterwards we will embark on a geo-strategic tour of Jerusalem and the area.
Overlook the Holy Basin from the Mt. of Olives, walk down the Palm Sunday Road from the church of Bethphage to The Garden of Gethsemane with a short stop at Dominus Flevit.
Then see the ancient olive trees as well as the beautiful Church of All Nations. Continue from the Lion’s Gate (St. Stephens Gate) towards the Monastery of St. Anne and the Pools of Bethesda, along the Via Dolorosa towards the Christian Quarter.
Hike (or ride cable cars) to the top of the historic Mt. Masada where 960 men, women, and children resisted the Romans during the Great Jewish Revolt almost 2000 years ago.
Afterwards visit Qumran and finally spend the afternoon relaxing in the Dead Sea.
Transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport for flight home
