Israel Tour: Day 1
Our Israel Tour begins with a travel to London, England, the place of origin of the Balfour Declaration, which paved the way against all odds for the establishment of a Jewish State. Read the original Balfour Declaration, which is kept in the British Library, and meet with a prominent historian for a fascinating conversation on the significance the Declaration holds both in past and present.
Israel Tour: Day 2
Begin the tour at Trafalgar Square, walk along Whitehall Road and relive the time leading up to the Balfour Declaration. Learn about the rise of Zionism and the efforts to enlist British support. Hear the stories of Chaim Weizmann and his fellow Zionists and catch a glimpse into the challenges they faced before and after the historic document was issued. Spend the afternoon at the beautiful Waddesdon Manor, located in the countryside in the outskirts of London, built as a tribute for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in the 1870s to display his collections and entertain his fashionable guests.
Israel Tour: Day 3
The Imperial War Museum reveals the fascinating story of Britain’s involvement in the Middle East following the first World War, and the legendary tales of Lawrence of Arabia. Continue to General Allenby’s grave at Westminster Abby and discuss the military aspirations that influenced the Middle East before and during the British Mandate. Next, discuss the Second World War and the end of the British mandate, then descend into the secret bunker used by the Winston Churchill.
Israel Tour: Day 4
Travel to Israel and return to the holy city of Jerusalem, the city where it all began. Overlooking both ancient and modern Jerusalem, walk along the ramparts for an inside glimpse into what Jerusalem represented then and now.
Israel Tour: Day 5
Journey through time as you revisit the grounds where the battle for Jerusalem took place in 1948. Listen to battle chronicles from this time and feel the strength and spirit of the Jewish people. This fighting spirit paved the way for Zionist aspirations and the establishment of a Jewish homeland. Walk along the streets of the Old City and connect with the vibrant energies in this breathtaking city.
Israel Tour: Day 6
Travel to the Gush Etzion region to learn about the historic battle that took place 1948 and hear the captivating stories of the of the people that returned to live in this unique area. Stop at several observation points for a geo-strategic overview of the landscape surrounding Jerusalem. This unique perspective offers valuable insight into what the future may hold for the city. Next, make your way to the final resting place for the fallen Israeli soldiers and State leaders at Mount Herzl.
Israel Tour: Day 7
Venture South to survey the battle grounds of the capital of the Negev, Be’er Sheva. In addition, learn more about the challenges that settlements in the region have faced over the years. Continue to the historically innovative Kibbutz Revivim and learn how this kibbutz became one of the pioneering locations for agriculture in the desert. Visit Sde Boker, home and final resting place of Israel’s first leader, David Ben Gurion.

Descend underground into what was once a secret underground bullet factory and see how the Palmach fighters secretly prepared for their battle against the British. Continue to the home of Chaim Weizman and hear the story of the First President of the State and his crucial role in securing the Balfour Declaration. As you make your way to Tel Aviv, enjoy the captivating scenery as you walk down the famous Rothschild Boulevard, and delve into the history of the city that never sleeps as you visit Independence Hall and the Palmach Museum.

Israel Tour: Day 10
Spend the day celebrating Israel’s many achievements, 70 years after the momentous declaration of the State. Visit several of Israel’s innovative organizations and businesses that are creating a global impact, and cementing Israel’s footprint in the Start Up world. Continue to the home of one of Israel’s iconic photographers who has captured the State’s defining moments for a unique view into Israeli society through the lens of a camera.
