All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing Israeli Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Use of Website

Agreement between Customer and Israel Seminar www.israelseminar.com is offered to you, the customer, conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. Your use of www.israelseminar.com constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.

Deposit Required

$500 per person deposit is due at the time of any tour reservation unless otherwise indicated.

Prices

Prices are as noted in the quote provided per program. In case of human or computer error, Israel Seminar reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided Israel Seminar receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification. Israel tax regulations: Please note the prices above are for incoming tourists only. Israeli citizens are subject to V.A.T. charges and therefore will be charged this over and above the prices listed

Payment

Payment can be made via bank transfer or via credit card. Credit card payments may be made with Visa and Mastercard only. All prices and all payments must be made is U.S. Dollars. Please note that all payments are processed in Israel. Some credit card companies charge an international processing fee. Please check with your credit card provider to see what international fees you might be charged.

Currency Fluctuations

All our prices in the brochure and for our custom tailored programs are based on tariffs effective on date of printing. In case of currency fluctuation of more than 3% or amendments in local government taxes, we will adjust pricing accordingly in order to be able to operate the tour.

Passenger Information

Passengers are responsible to ensure that Israel Seminar has the correctly spelled name, address, email and fax data for all passengers. Names printed on the invoice must exactly match the first and last name written in their passport (middle names or initials are not needed).Israel Seminar will not be responsible for passengers who receive incorrect documents due to inaccurate information.

Amendments After Departure

The cost of any changes or additions will be at the local rate at the time of the change, and must be borne by the passenger.

Hotel Accommodations

Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel’s management on a run-of-house basis. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. All hotel rates are based on Israel Seminar agreements with its suppliers and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is being used. If a day room is included in the itinerary, check-out will normally be 6:00 p.m.

Not Included

Items of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, beverages, coffee, tea, food other than the table d’hote menu, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes.

Children

There is no minimum age on independent packages. Discounts for children sharing a room as third apply to children under 12.

Meals on Tour

As specified in each itinerary. Meals are based on the hotel’s or restaurant’s buffet or set menu. In general, beverages are not included, unless specifically stated.

Sightseeing

Will be operated by motor-vehicle, its size dictated by the number of participants, at the sole discretion of the company. Israel Seminar tours have been designed to accommodate individuals as well as groups. Please refer to each tour package for a complete listing of tour services included. The number of participants may vary during the tour, as Israel Seminar accommodates travelers arriving on different airlines and on different days of the week. Times listed in itineraries are approximate and meant only as guidelines. Itineraries listed online or in printed materials are approximate and meant only as guidelines. Israel Seminar reserves the right to make any itinerary changes it deems as necessary. In such cases where programs are changed a sight removed will be substituted with an alternative visit or we may choose to remove a sight visit to allow for more time at other listed locations. In such an event Israel Seminar will not offer a monetary refund or compensation of any kind to trip participants. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for all scheduled flights and package components. Arriving late may be considered a “no-show”, in which case you will not be eligible for refund for the unused service(s). We cannot guarantee the number of passengers who will be on any given tour. You may find that you are traveling with a sizeable group or only with your own companions. Services, however, will remain constant no matter the number of tour participants.

Public Holidays

On dates including, but not limited to religious holidays and national celebrations, some monuments and sites may be closed. On these occasions, touring itineraries may be amended to reflect these closures.

Itinerary & Hotel Amendments

Occasionally, during holidays and certain periods, due to unforeseen circumstances the local Tour Operator and/or Hotel(s) may have to make last-minute changes, sometimes after arrival, in the sequence of the tour and/or hotels. We therefore reserve the right to adjust the sequence and/or substitute any hotels with others of similar category. In such cases there will be no cost adjustment.

Non-Operation of Escorted Tours

Escorted tour packages are based upon a minimum number of participants. Cancellation of any tour for lack of participation will be advised at least 30 days prior to the tour’s departure, and all money will be refunded. Israel Seminar will not be held responsible for any costs relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets or visa fees. Voluntary cancellations due to political instability, acts of terrorism, government intervention or US State Department warning will be subject to the above fees, provided the program is deemed (by Israel Seminar) able to continue. Should Israel Seminar elect to cancel a departure for any of these reasons, every effort will be made to obtain refunds from suppliers, however no guarantees can be provided on their behalf.

Travellers With Physical Limitations

Israel Seminar will make all reasonable accommodations to meet the needs of our tour participants with physical limitations. Tour participants requiring any form of assistance or special accommodation are required to notify Israel Seminar in writing at the time of reservation and Israel Seminar will use its good efforts to accommodate the tour participant’s needs. Tour participants requiring assistance on a regular or routine basis must be accompanied by an individual responsible for providing those services. Tour managers, guides, drivers or other suppliers are not able to provide assistance other than on a sporadic basis as it makes it impossible for them to fulfill their regular and required obligations. Due to space limitations, special advance arrangements may need to be made to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers aboard motor coaches. Israel Seminar reserves the right to remove any person from a tour who has not provided the required notification and has not received written confirmation from Israel Seminar. All related expenses, including those to return home, will be borne by the passenger.

Group Harmony

To ensure the desired group synergy, Israel Seminar reserves the right to accept, reject or expel any individual who is deemed disruptive or incompatible with the interests of the group. All expenses to do so will be borne by the passenger.

Health Requirements

Please check with your healthcare provider for up-to-date requirements.

Passports & Visas

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required. Passports should be valid for at least 6 months from date of departure from Israel.

CANCELLAITON POLICY

(In accordance with the Israel consumer protection regulations)

If cancellation is received in writing by our office:

1. Up to 31 days before arrival date – 100% Refunded
2. Between 30 – 16 days before arrival – 75% Refunded
3. Between 15 – 8 days before arrival – 50%Refunded
4. On or after 7 days before arrival– No Refunds
5. Cancellation of a specific program or activity while you are in Israel will not guarantee a refund.

Cancellation fees apply regardless of the reason, including medical and family matters. We highly encourage you to take out separate, comprehensive travel insurance that will cover unexpected cancellations.

* As per Israeli consumer law, remote transactions can be cancelled with no penalty fourteen days from date of purchase.

Customer Service

All customer service issues and refund requests must be submitted in writing and received no later than 30 days after your return. Refunds are subject to a processing fee of $50 plus any hotel and/or supplier charges incurred. Claims for unused services should be substantiated in writing by local representatives. Processing of claims will take up to six weeks from the date Israel Seminar receives relevant documents. There will be no refunds for unused package tour services or features, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, unused entrance fees, and accommodations. No terms set forth may be changed by anyone other than an authorized representative of Israel Seminar and must be documented in writing. Israel Seminar is not obliged to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides, or any other persons not under direct employ of Israel Seminar.

Responsibility

The Israel Seminar Ltd., (hereinafter called the Tour Operators), act only as an agent for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation and other services. All exchange orders, coupons and tickets are offered subject to the Terms and Conditions under which such services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall be deemed to be consent to the further conditions that the Tour Operators shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity in any vehicle, or through the acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger/s or of any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant otherwise in connection therewith. The transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their conveyances. The Israel Seminar does not assume responsibility for airlines, or hotels overbooking, cancellations, or delays. The Israel Seminar is not responsible for any delay, damages, costs, and injury sustained by a tour participant arising from, caused by, or related to, any circumstances of Force Majeure, including without limitation, fire, war, act of God, weather conditions, civil unrest, acts of criminality or terrorism, strike, governmental action, or any other circumstances beyond our control. When same arises, we will use our efforts or ask our service and accommodation providers to use their efforts to make necessary accommodation with respect to same, as may be reasonable under the circumstances. The Israel Seminar reserves the right to withdraw any tour or change any touring services or accommodations and to make such alterations as may be found desirable for the proper carrying out of the tours. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable in our or our supplier’s discretion to alter the arrangements or the itineraries for the tour participant’s comfort, welfare or safety, such alternations can be made without penalty to us or the service provider. The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any group at any time. The issuance and acceptance by the tour participant of any documents in connection with a tour is considered acceptance by the tour participant of this condition.

Validity

All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of January 1, 2015 and are subject to change without notice. If the U.S. dollar devalues by 3% from the local currency or more, Israel Seminar reserves the right to increase prices accordingly.

Terms and Cancellation policies for a specific trip
