Take in the unique atmosphere of Jerusalem as you walk down to the Western Wall and descend underground to the Western Wall Tunnels, offering a glimpse into the many layers that make up the long and storied history of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem: A Center for Three Great Monotheistic Religions

Walk through the alleyways of the Old City of Jerusalem to discover the intertwined stories of Jews, Christians and Muslims throughout all four quarters. Stroll through the marketplaces (shuks) of the Christian and Muslim Quarters, and the covert courtyards and alleyways of the Jewish Quarter. Discover the secret tastes, stories, people and places that make this city unique.
In a region rife with challenges, Israelis have honed the art of problem solving and turned their small desert nation into a powerhouse of invention, an unparalleled ecosystem of creativity and resourcefulness. This afternoon, becoming acquainted with the Israel start-up scene with a talk by a representative of the Start Up Nation and visits to innovation hubs and various start-ups located in and around Jerusalem.
Venture into the heart of Jerusalem this evening with tasting tour through the Machane Yehuda fresh produce market.

Day 3

Tragedy of the Past, Triumphs of the Future

Spend the morning with a comprehensive tour of Yad Vashem. As the Jewish people’s living memorial to the Holocaust, Yad Vashem safeguards the memory of the past and imparts its meaning for future generations.
Following the visit, meet with government officials involved in promoting tech and innovation in Israel.
Continue to United Hatzala, a national emergency response organization bringing Jews, Muslims, Christians and Druze together in order to save lives. Using innovative GPS and phone app technology, United Hatzalah’s volunteer pre-ambulance medics typically arrive on the scene in under three minutes.

Day 4

Tel Aviv: A Center of Innovation

Travel to Tel Aviv and visit the Cyber Protection Unit of the IDF’s Telecommunications Division where ‘Sim City’ was created to simulate a take-over of computer systems as part of the IDF’s readiness for a future war situation.
Continue to the Holtz School that provides an exclusive course for military cadets.
Walk along the main avenue of Tel Aviv, Rothschild Boulevard, which used to be known as Rehov HaAm (the Street of the People) at the time of the establishment of the State of Israel. Hear the history of the city and visit some of the many start-ups located along the street.
In the evening, enjoy the famous Tel Aviv nightlife.

Day 5

Tel Aviv: A City of Culture and Innovation

Visit Tel Aviv University, a world center of tech and innovation, where you meet with representatives from one of Israel’s leading social start-ups and an international accelerator program that provides entrepreneurs, immigrants, and returning citizens with tools and mentoring to create and develop their startup in Israel.
Spend the afternoon at EdTech Israel, a national business hub that successfully connects the Israeli EdTech community with international entrepreneurs, investors, and business partners.
Tonight, enjoy a cultural exploring the ancient port city of Jaffa including its alleyways and marketplaces. The city had its beginnings more than 5,000 years ago and has grown and changed over the millennia to include the old city, as well as the surrounding neighborhoods.

Day 6

Bridging the Gap in the Galilee

Travel to Haifa to visit one of Israel’s up and coming start-ups. Wind your way through the nineteen immaculately gardened terraces that make up the Bahai Gardens. The gardens provide a breathtaking backdrop for what is considered one of the holiest sites for the Bahai faith and have a short discussion on the diversity of religion and culture in the region.
Visit an incubator for startups targeting the Arab market, followed by a tour of the Technion campus.

Day 7

Tel Aviv and Departure

This morning meet one of Israel’s top entrepreneurs before visiting one of Israel’s innovative and successful non-profits.
Spend the afternoon enjoying the craft markets of Tel Aviv before travelling to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure flight.
